Terms of Service
Effective: April 30, 2026 · Last updated: April 30, 2026
1. This Is Not A Court Of Law
Literally. Despite the name, this website is not a court, tribunal, arbitration service, or any form of legal proceeding. No real legal proceedings take place here. Verdicts have no legal standing, enforceability, or judicial weight whatsoever. "Judgments" are the opinions of internet strangers, not judicial rulings. "Cases" are user-submitted entertainment content, not legal filings. "Verdicts" are community polls, not binding decisions.
This platform exists for entertainment purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice, legal representation, or a substitute for proper legal counsel. If you have an actual legal dispute, consult a licensed attorney.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to use this platform. By using this site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18. If we discover a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete all associated content.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree not to create multiple accounts, impersonate others, or use the platform for any illegal purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion, with or without cause.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant NACOL a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, reproduce, and create derivative works of your content on the platform and in marketing materials.
You represent and warrant that:
- Your User Content is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- Your User Content does not violate any third party's rights
- Your User Content does not contain illegal material
- You have the right to submit all content you post
- Your User Content does not defame, harass, or threaten any individual
Once submitted, User Content cannot be edited. It's in evidence. However, either party in a case may request deletion/sealing of the case at any time.
5. Prohibited Content
You may NOT submit content that:
- Contains threats, harassment, or incitement to violence
- Contains hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language
- Contains personal information of third parties (doxxing)
- Depicts or references child exploitation in any form
- Contains non-consensual intimate images
- References or promotes illegal activities
- Contains self-harm or suicidal content
- Impersonates a public figure or celebrity
- Is spam, advertising, or promotional content
- Contains malware, phishing links, or malicious code
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
We use automated content moderation and reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion.
6. The Verdict System
Verdicts are determined by public voting. Voting is open to anyone with internet access. One vote per IP address per case. Verdicts reflect community opinions at the time of voting and are not:
- Legal determinations or rulings
- Factual findings of any kind
- Binding on any party
- Admissible in any legal proceeding
- A substitute for professional judgment
We do not endorse, validate, or verify the accuracy of any verdict. Verdicts may be influenced by factors unrelated to the merits of the dispute, including but not limited to: vote brigading, social media mobilization, bias, and popularity.
7. Default Judgments
If a case is filed and the defendant does not respond within 48 hours, a "Default Judgment" may be entered. A Default Judgment means the defendant did not respond — it does NOT mean the plaintiff's claims are true, verified, or validated. Default Judgments are a procedural mechanism, not a finding of fact.
8. Voting Integrity
One vote per IP address per case. Vote manipulation, including but not limited to: using VPNs/proxies to vote multiple times, creating automated voting scripts, coordinating vote brigading, or paying for votes — is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to void votes we reasonably believe were manipulated.
9. Case Deletion & Sealing
Either party in a case may request deletion/sealing at any time. When a case is sealed, it is removed from public view but may be retained in our records for legal compliance purposes. We may also seal or delete cases that violate our Terms of Service.
10. Content Moderation
We employ automated and manual content moderation. We do not guarantee that all prohibited content will be detected. We are not liable for User Content posted by users. If you see content that violates these Terms, please report it using the in-platform reporting tools.
11. Intellectual Property
The NACOL name, logo, design, and platform are the intellectual property of Flip Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of our platform without written permission. User Content remains the property of its respective owners.
12. Privacy
Your use of this platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to: implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NACOL AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, including but not limited to: loss of profits, data, reputation, or emotional distress, arising from your use of the platform, User Content, verdicts, or any interactions between users.
Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NACOL, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from: (a) your use of the platform, (b) your User Content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any third party's rights.
16. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute between you and NACOL shall be resolved through binding arbitration, not in court. Arbitration shall be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
(Ironic, we know. But we're not stupid.)
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
18. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the platform at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

⚖️ TL;DR
This is an entertainment platform, not a court. Verdicts are opinions, not rulings. Don't be evil. Don't post illegal stuff. Don't harass people. Either party can delete a case anytime. We're not responsible for what the internet thinks.
